PACU Nurse

The salary for this position ranges from $62,400 to $91,000 per year, offering a competitive compensation package that reflects your skills and experience.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate PACU RN to provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients. Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring vital signs and managing symptoms of anesthesia
• Administering prescribed medications and implementing treatment plans as directed by medical staff
• Collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to discharge home
• Educating patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• An Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• An active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems
