Micron Technology is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Development Engineer to join our team in Boise, Idaho.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, engineer, and implement application security solutions in a scalable way for a worldwide enterprise.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot systems issues.
  • Ensure that the potential impact of software development changes is well understood, using data to support understanding of upstream and downstream dependencies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams for end-to-end testing and performance analysis of real-time data applications, solve issues, proactively identify new opportunities, and drive initiatives through to completion.

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Computer Science with 8 years of meaningful experience or MS Degree in Computer Science with 5 years of proven experience.
  • Good JAVA experience with back-end work, web services work, making REST APIs or endpoints, engineering computations, numerical computations.
  • Strong Linux platform experience.
  • Strong C/C++ experience with library creation, shared object creation, build systems familiarity (make, cmake).
  • Good SQL experience that involves creating stored procedures, making SQL queries by hand, general database administration work, capable of creating database schemas, designing databases, managing databases and tables, creating indices, normal forms.
  • Web Applications experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MSCS Degree.
  • Job stability (3+ years with the same company).
  • Azure Cloud platform experience.
  • Perl experience.
