Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Borgess Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Behavioral Health department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with patients and families to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in open discussion with the healthcare team to identify mutual goals and develop a plan of care.
- Diagnose, treat, and evaluate the human response to actual or potential health problems/needs.
- Assess, detect, monitor, and attempt to prevent complications associated with health situations or treatment plans.
- Notify the physician of patient condition and response to nursing intervention.
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Finger Printing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
