Certified Home Health Care Professionals are sought after by BAYADA Home Health Care to provide personal care to elderly patients in their homes. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule, with part-time or per diem options available.

As a Home Health Aide, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides home health aide, skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients. This affords them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to maintain their independence and quality of life.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of work experience as a Home Health Aide and have successfully completed a recognized Home Health Aide training course. They must be certified to work as a Home Health Aide and demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Activities of daily living
  • Light housekeeping
  • Bathing and grooming
  • Toileting and nail care
  • Range of motion / exercises
  • Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
  • Oral feeding and vital sign checks

Home Management Tasks include laundry, meal preparation, bed making, and assisting with ambulation. Medication assistance is also a key responsibility.
