Cardiac Telemetry Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Telemetry Nurse to join our team at Williamson Health in Franklin, Tennessee. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic healthcare system that values diversity and community service.

Job Summary:

The Cardiac Telemetry Nurse coordinates and implements patient care with a focus on comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and individual care planning. This role requires a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university, licensure in the State of Tennessee, and various certifications depending on specific patient care needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments on all patients within the appropriate time frame
  • Plan patient care on an individual basis, identifying problems/needs, nursing diagnoses, standards of care/practice, interventions consistent with identified problems, and attainable outcomes
  • Function independently with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to areas, evidenced by adherence to policy, procedure, and competency-based assessment
  • Handle, transport, store, prepare, and administer medications/solutions safely and in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures
  • Document accurately and timely
  • Reassess patient conditions, evaluate patient responses, and modify plans of care accordingly and in a timely manner
  • Accept charge responsibilities and assign staff with consideration of patient condition and care requirements, acuity, and complexity of patient's condition
  • Maintain healing and therapeutic environments for patients and families
  • Demonstrate responsibility for assigned communications and special assignments

Requirements:

  • Nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
  • Licensure in the State of Tennessee
  • Varying certifications depending on specific patient care needs
  • Prolonged standing and working for up to twelve hours a day
  • Able to lift with assistance up to 250 lbs

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
