Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Director to lead our IT Infrastructure Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive cloud infrastructure roadmap aligned with business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Infrastructure Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud infrastructure roadmap aligned with business goals and objectives, including the management of data center facilities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and data center technicians, providing guidance on architecture design, best practices, and technical direction.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance, cost-effectiveness, and operational efficiency of our cloud environments and data center operations.
  • Security and Compliance: Establish and enforce security policies and compliance standards to protect sensitive data and mitigate risks in both cloud-based and physical environments.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development, deployment, and operation of cloud-based applications and services, as well as the maintenance of on-premises infrastructure.
  • Emerging Technologies: Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage in cloud infrastructure and data center management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Skills: Strong background in Azure Cloud, deep understanding of Azure cloud architecture principles, networking concepts, and security best practices, as well as physical infrastructure management.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse group of technical professionals.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and drive innovation in cloud infrastructure and data center solutions.
Location

This position is located in Lakewood Ranch, FL, West Palm Beach, FL, and/or Clearwater, FL. This is a hybrid position, and preference is for the candidate to be in our geography, although some remote work will be made available.
