Rehab America is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover functional abilities and independence after surgery, injury, or medical crisis.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patient level of function in areas including strength, endurance, and ability to perform Activities of Daily Living.
  • Establish, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans based on patient response to treatment.
  • Participate in patient care conferences and family conferences as scheduled through the Program Supervisor.
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, Technicians, Occupational Therapy students, and volunteers in direct and indirect patient care.
  • Provide input and assist in implementation of program development on an ongoing basis.

  • At least one year's experience practicing occupational therapy in a hospital or Home Health setting.
  • Graduate of an occupational therapy school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the A.M.A. in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association or its equivalent.
  • Currently licensed by the state of Tennessee as a Registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Current State Driver's License.
  • Current Auto Liability Insurance according to company policy.
  • Travel between multiple buildings.
