Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Jennie-O Turkey Store. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing advanced repair and preventative maintenance of various equipment systems and buildings, including technical service of these areas.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems to identify and implement solutions
Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operations and meet customer expectations
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with good operating record
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Physical ability to lift, bend, and climb as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Vocational degree related to agricultural confinement building systems and maintenance
Four years of verifiable experience in repair of assets and equipment of poultry production facilities
Advanced training in diagnosing problems and repair of environmental controllers and alarm systems
