Job Overview

This position is ideal for those seeking a dynamic work environment where they can utilize their skills to maintain cleanliness and organization within a food manufacturing facility.

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Sanitation Operator in Rhinelander, WI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning tasks throughout the facility, including peripheral areas, office spaces, and common areas.
  • Participate in process line cleaning procedures and master sanitation cleaning protocols.
  • Maintain general orderliness of the plant by straightening rows, removing broken skids, and cleaning up spills.
  • Assist with recycling programs, including using the baler for cardboard.
  • Contribute to task/work load handoffs with the oncoming shift.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with common cleaning equipment and knowledge of cleaning compounds.
  • The ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse settings (6+ months preferred).
