Microbiology Laboratory Technician

As a Microbiology Laboratory Technician at System One, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of products by performing microbiological testing and maintaining laboratory samples. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity with a Monday-to-Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct microbiological testing on products, incoming materials, and in-process samples to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Develop and maintain a full stability program for children's toy products.
• Record work performed and results in a clear and understandable manner.
• Report and document all incidents, using CAPA and Root Cause Analysis to determine cause and prevention.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Science - Microbiology preferred.
• Industry experience in a microbiology quality control lab preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Math and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work a full day on your feet in a very active environment and lift 50 lbs. to shoulder height.
