Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including assessments, care planning, and implementation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting.
  • Must be able to sit and climb stairs.
  • Must have visual and hearing acuity.
  • Must have a strong sense of smell and touch.
  • Must be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.
  • Must be able to appropriately respond physically and mentally to emergency situations in the home or during transport.
Environment:
  • Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions.
  • Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
