Job Overview

ProCare Therapy is partnering with an exceptional school district in Ketchikan, Alaska to find a highly skilled School Psychologist for a contract opportunity until the end of June.

About the Role

This position requires a minimum of 1+ years experience as a School Psychologist. The ideal candidate will possess a valid AK state license and educational certification, as well as a Master's or Doctorate in School Psychology. While experience in a school setting is preferred, we are open to new graduates who are eager to make a difference.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify learning disabilities, developmental delays, and behavioral issues.
  • Analyze data to highlight students' strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Provide individual and group counseling focused on emotional and behavioral support.
  • Design and implement interventions to enhance social skills, coping mechanisms, and mental health.
