About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations, ensuring the smooth delivery of patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Count, Pour, and Label Prescriptions: Accurately count, pour, and label prescriptions as designated by the pharmacist on duty, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Run inventory and order supplies to maintain an adequate stock level, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
  • Departmental Support: Participate in departmental meetings, projects, and other needs, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  • Customer Service: Handle sales transactions for prescriptions and other merchandise, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: High school graduate or equivalent required; Pharmacy Assistant license from the Washington State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Experience: Minimum one (1) year of previous work experience in a retail pharmacy preferred.
