We are looking for a Modeling and Simulation engineer with technical expertise and engineering leadership skills to drive the design and development of world-class Land and Air Defense Systems.

The Integrated Air & Missile Defense Systems (IAMDS) department leads all aspects of Systems Engineering that drive the development of complex systems to support the Raytheon Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) mission area from our Tewksbury, MA location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with cross-functional engineering teams to coordinate design plans and requirements analysis.
  • Manage program technical risks by evaluating requirements and design aspects.
  • Develop and maintain modeling tools incorporating Digital Signal Processing (DSP) with complex time domain elements.
  • Incorporate radar system concepts including detection, discrimination, track and signal processing algorithms to model their behaviors and performance.
  • Incorporate effector system concepts including guidance and fuzing to model their behaviors and performance.

Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with the development and coding of system models, algorithms, test vectors and analysis tools in support of analyzing radar requirements and performance.
  • Active and transferrable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to the start date.

This role offers a salary range of $96,000 - $200,000 USD per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
