About the Role

Group W, a 100% employee-owned company, seeks an experienced Senior Warfighting Operations Research Analyst to join our team. This role requires a strong background in operations research and analysis, with expertise in modeling and simulation techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute advanced analytical models and methods to support warfighting analyses from engagement to campaign levels.
  • Design and implement mission and campaign-level representations, databases, and analyses of US, allied, and adversary forces executing warfighting concepts of operation.
  • Provide expert advice on techniques best suited for tasked problems to other operations research analysts, scientists, or engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Physics, Engineering, or an applied Science Discipline OR master's degree with 5 years' experience in lieu of.
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • 5+ years' experience OR master's degree with:
    • 2 years' experience performing engagement/mission-level analysis using models such as AFSIM, Brawler, or EADSIM.
    • 3 years' experience in the analyses of management or operational problems, with the ability to formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in operations research, Physics, Engineering, or an applied Science discipline.
  • 5 or more years' experience performing engagement/mission-level analysis using models such as AFSIM, Brawler, or EADSIM.
  • 10 or more years' experience in the analyses of management or operational problems, with the ability to formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.
  • Prior military experience at the theater or joint task force level conducting planning or performing operational assessments; experience with developing R scripts for pre-processing, post-processing, data analytics and data visualization.
  • Completion of professional military education at or above MEL-4.

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $105,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on relevant work experience related to the scope of the position, education, training, and market considerations.
