Maintenance Team Lead

Compensation: $30-$32/hour
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee a small team responsible for performing landscaping, grounds keeping, and maintenance and repair work on mechanical and electrical equipment. The role requires flexibility, including occasional weekend work and on-call duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of maintenance personnel in performing scheduled inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, docks, and equipment to identify and address potential issues.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, ensuring the safety and security of facilities, docks, and equipment.
- Perform routine and complex cleaning tasks, including travel lift debris collection pit filtration system maintenance and entry gate upkeep.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, maintenance tasks, and hazardous material disposal.
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner, interacting with clients, guests, associates, and vendors.
- Identify and report safety issues promptly to management.
- Ensure a safe facility environment, adhering to maintenance and upkeep standards for equipment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School Certification preferred.
- 1-2 years of maintenance experience.
- Strong technical knowledge in Electrical and/or Plumbing.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with diverse individuals.
- Effective organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service skills, with a focus on assisting customers and coworkers.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to move frequently, bend, lift, carry, and reach above shoulder height.
- Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 25 lbs. regularly, 30-35 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and climb stairs regularly.
- Withstanding temperature extremes in indoor and outdoor environments.
- Reading and writing work-related documents in English.
- Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
- Constant communication with other employees in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Driver's License required.
Equipment Used:
- Electrical and/or Plumbing repair equipment and typical office equipment.
- Field transportation vehicles, including golf carts, Gators, and other motorized vehicles.
