Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at CPM. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machine tools to fabricate precision parts for various industries. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate tools and materials, and producing high-quality components according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
  • Set up and adjust machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
  • Machine parts to required specifications with precision and accuracy.
  • Select and use appropriate tools, attachments, and materials for each job.
  • Monitor the machining process and make necessary adjustments.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Machinist or similar role.
  • Proficiency in operating a variety of machine tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of machining techniques, tooling, and materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
