About the Role

The KPC GLOBAL MEDICAL CENTERS INC. is seeking an experienced X-Ray Imaging Specialist to join our team on a per diem basis with varied shifts.

Key Responsibilities

As an X-Ray Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality images of patients' bodies as requested by physicians. You will assess patient conditions and abilities to cooperate with instructions, positioning patients and equipment accordingly. Your expertise will ensure that technical factors are selected to produce satisfactory quality images while maintaining radiation safety standards.

You will work closely with our Director of Imaging Services to deliver exceptional care to our diverse patient population. To achieve this, you must possess strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to various age groups. Your professionalism will also be reflected in your ability to perform all duties assigned by management.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Completion of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) approved program as a Radiology Technologist (RT), preferably in an acute care setting.
  • ARRT RT certification and California CRT license required; fluoroscopy certification needed within 12 months from hire for new graduates; venipuncture certification and current BLS also desired.
