The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000-$150,000 per year, depending on experience and education.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Professional Engineer to join our team as a Senior Electrical Engineering Project Manager. The successful candidate will oversee the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. They will have broad knowledge of engineering procedures and assist in the resolution of complex problems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collecting data by visually identifying, inspecting, and recording equipment and structures in the field and maps data collected.
  • Executing work orders for fielding and/or design of infrastructure consistently meeting benchmarks for quality, time, and budget constraints.
  • Performing 2-D Civil and/or Electrical type design in CAD (i.e., PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, MicroStation), demonstrating an elevated level of proficiency.
  • Applying comprehensive knowledge of NESC and local code requirements.
  • Performing planning taking into consideration assessments of current and future power infrastructure needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET Accredited Engineering College or a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Electrical Utility Industry.
  • An active Professional Engineering License: Ohio OR Michigan License is preferred, but other states will also work.
  • Proficient in interpreting and comprehending intricate engineering schematics with precision.
  • Demonstrates articulate verbal and written communication skills, presenting ideas with clarity and coherence.
  • Exhibits advanced collaborative abilities, actively participating in information exchange and seeking assistance as needed while collaborating harmoniously with team members.
