Job Summary:
The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Travel LPN. This opportunity allows an LPN to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from home, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.

About the Role:
As a Travel LPN, you will work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care across various settings. Your expertise in nursing principles and practices will enable you to deliver exceptional care, addressing the physical and psychosocial needs of residents. You will also contribute to the assessment of residents, administer medications or treatments as ordered, and provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
  • Contribute to the assessment of residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
  • Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with residents, healthcare providers, and the public.

Requirements:
  • A graduate degree in practical nursing from an accredited program.
  • An active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
  • Minimum 3 months of previous experience in Long Term Care required; 6 months preferred.

The Good Samaritan Society offers an attractive benefits package for qualifying full-time and part-time employees. Salary:
$24.00 - $36.00 per hour. Mileage reimbursement and additional float premium available.
