Job Summary

The position evaluates patients of all ages regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of speech, language, swallowing, and oral-motor disorders. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age-specific patient population (e.g. infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics).

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients of all ages regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation of speech, language, swallowing, and oral-motor disorders.
Deliver care to assigned age-specific patient population (e.g. infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics).

Requirements

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
California Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.
One year of experience in providing Speech and Language Services.

Preferred Qualifications

Clinical hospital experience.
One year of experience in providing speech language pathology to infants, children or adolescents or experience in an acute care hospital providing speech language pathology directly to infants, children or adolescents who have a CCS eligible medical condition.
