About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator in the Children's Emergency Center. This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to achieve excellent outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
- Collects data and completes nursing assessments utilizing appropriate area-specific standards and policies.
- Completes appropriate forms and documents progress toward expected outcomes.
- Assesses and recognizes subtle or actual changes in patients' status and responds accordingly.
- Develops individual plans of care based on the assessed needs of the patient.
- Provides direct care to assigned patients consistent with the established nursing plan.
- Delegates nursing tasks as appropriate to members of the healthcare team.
- Monitors quality of care delivered on a continual basis and ensures appropriate surveillance of assigned patients.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- One year experience as a registered nurse; successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or comparable residency accepted in lieu of experience.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
