Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Horizontal Milling Machine Operator to join our team at Van Becelaere Machine Works. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating CNC horizontal milling machines to produce high-tolerance precision parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program and operate CNC horizontal milling machines to produce precision parts.
  • Set up and select tools, ensuring proper function and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to develop and maintain accurate work instructions.
  • Work closely with Quality Control to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in CNC machine setup, programming, and operations.
  • Extensive experience with Fanuc controls.
  • Ability to edit and write G-code programs.
  • Broad understanding of cutting tools for milling, drilling, tapping, boring, etc.
  • Safety-first mindset and ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
