Maintenance Equipment Technician

Corning Incorporated is seeking a skilled Maintenance Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and conducting repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and conduct repairs as needed to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.
• Collaborate with the operations team to identify and address potential equipment issues before they become major problems.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
