Optimizing Branch Performance
As a Branch Manager at Cummins, you will be responsible for managing branches to ensure optimal performance and profitability. This involves overseeing all functions and financial metrics, as well as developing and managing the Annual Operating Plan with input from Business Development and Branch Managers.
Strategic Planning
You will be responsible for developing and managing the Annual Operating Plan with input from Business Development and Branch Managers. This will align business activities with strategic goals and ensure that the branch is working towards its objectives.
Monitoring Business Metrics
You will be responsible for keeping track of balanced scorecards, profit and loss metrics, and asset metrics. This will help maintain financial health and operational efficiency, and ensure that the branch is performing at its best.
Driving Business Growth
You will be responsible for managing annual marketing and sales plans, and developing new business relationships and alliances. This will support business expansion and market penetration, and help the branch to grow and succeed.
Improving Operational Efficiency
You will be responsible for handling warranty submissions and rejections, and implementing improvements based on Repair Event Cycle Time. This will enhance service quality and efficiency, and ensure that the branch is working effectively.
Ensuring Compliance
You will be responsible for overseeing health, safety, and environmental standards and audits. This will ensure compliance and promote a safe working environment, and help the branch to meet its regulatory requirements.
Leadership and Team Management
You will be responsible for recruiting, developing, motivating, and retaining high-quality customer service employees. This will build a strong, capable team, and ensure that the branch has the skills and expertise it needs to succeed.
Financial Acumen
You will be responsible for interpreting and applying understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions. This will help the branch to make informed decisions, and ensure that it is working towards its financial objectives.
Business Insight
You will be responsible for applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals. This will help the branch to stay ahead of the competition, and ensure that it is working towards its strategic objectives.
Customer Focus
You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions. This will help the branch to build trust and loyalty with its customers, and ensure that it is meeting their needs and expectations.
Education and Qualifications
A college, university, or equivalent degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related subject is required. Additionally, a strong understanding of business and the marketplace is essential for this role.
