Job Summary

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all plant equipment, buildings, and grounds. This role involves a mix of 60% mechanical and 40% electrical work, with a focus on troubleshooting and repairing complex systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain all plant equipment, buildings, and grounds
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex systems, including pumps, valves, relief valves, hoses, cylinders, conveyor belts, chains, motors, VFDs, transformers, and electrical systems
  • Install 3-phase systems, run conduit and wire, and observe mechanical devices in operation
  • Inspect used parts, adjust functional parts and control instruments, and repair or replace defective parts
  • Lubricate and clean machines, start machines to test performance, and repair electrical equipment and control systems
  • Maintain records in compliance with quality procedures, conduct plant-wide safety checks, and complete maintenance request forms
  • Perform lockout/tagout procedures and ensure timely completion of all maintenance repairs
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance and repair, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex systems
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
