At Restaurant Depot, we're seeking an experienced Seafood Operations Manager to join our team. This key role plays a vital part in ensuring the success of our seafood department.

Job Summary

This is a demanding yet rewarding position that requires a strong leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. As a Seafood Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing inventory, and driving sales growth while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

About You

We are looking for someone with at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food retail or wholesale industry. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration or supply chain management would be advantageous. Your exceptional leadership skills, combined with your ability to motivate and train staff members, will enable you to drive performance and achieve goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by Example: Set a positive tone and maintain a safe working environment, fostering a culture of respect and teamwork among colleagues.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide outstanding service to customers, respond promptly to their needs, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, monitor stock movement, and minimize waste and losses through effective forecasting and planning.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance on tasks, offering constructive feedback, and recognizing achievements.
  • Sales Growth: Identify opportunities to increase sales, develop strategies to promote products, and engage with customers to build relationships and drive revenue growth.
  • Physical Demands: The job requires frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting of up to 60 pounds. Regularly pushing and pulling heavy loads (500-1500 pounds) may also be necessary.
