Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Person

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a skilled Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Person to join our team at our Algona, WA facility. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment to ensure seamless production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, including motor controls, DC/AC drives, and controls, frying and packaging equipment.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and machine repairs.
  • Coordinate and complete installation and wiring of manufacturing equipment.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and implement preventative maintenance.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and document and report any unusual findings to supervision.
Requirements:
  • Minimum three years of experience in electrical, mechanical, and electronic applications.
  • Packaging machine and food processing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read electrical prints and schematics.
  • Ability to distinguish colors.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 100lbs, walk/stand for the majority of the work shift, and work at heights up to 30 feet.
  • Possess the ability to multitask under high pressure, detail-oriented, organized, and an independent decision-maker.
