Job Summary:

This role is responsible for performing inspection tasks related to in-process, Final, and/or Receiving Inspection areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections on all products within a timely manner.
  • Determine product conformance or non-conformance to drawings.
  • Use SAP to transact product to inventory or to MRB.
  • Write non-conformances for product that is not acceptable to requirements.
  • Detailed review of product against requirements.
  • Document results in Excel and SAP.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required, with 3 years of technical industry experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • This position requires US Citizenship due to the visibility of NO FORN projects.
  • Working knowledge of the use of measuring equipment – calipers, micrometer, optical measurement equipment.
  • Blueprint reading with GD&T, test specifications.
  • SAP or equivalent ERP system knowledge.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook.
  • Able to speak, read, and understand English; clear verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) use and other inspection-related documentation as required.
  • Must be able to interpret data from CMM.
  • Military, industry automotive, or aerospace standards experience. Spacecraft component and sub-systems experience.
  • Work experience in an organization with AS9100 or ISO 9001 certified.
