Senior Operations Manager

Bimbo Bakeries USA is a leading baking company with over 20,000 associates nationwide. We are seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead our baking operations through coaching and development of front-line Supervisors, driving a culture of safety, inclusion, engagement and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides leadership to baking operations through coaching and development of front-line Supervisors, leading by example, and driving a culture of safety, inclusion, engagement and accountability.

Remains accountable for production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including safety, quality, line efficiency, waste and downtime.

Tracks and reports on production data to evaluate performance against KPIs.

Drives continuous improvement by ensuring that LEAN tools and 5S are practiced in adherence to Manufacturing Transformation guidelines.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.

10+ years of progressive manufacturing experience including 5 years of experience in food production.

At least 4 years of experience leading front-line Supervisors.

Leadership skills with a focus on associate development and accountability.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work within cross-functional teams.

Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office products and ERP/MRP systems.

Experience with 5S and LEAN tools highly preferred.
