Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist - School Setting

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy and experience working with students of various ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students in one-on-one and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom.
  • Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to the creation and review of student-specific goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid SLP license or certification in New Jersey.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
