Critical Care Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner for Contract Assignment in Virginia

Pulmonology nurse practitioners play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, and we are seeking an experienced professional to fill a contract assignment in Virginia.
Key Responsibilities:
This position involves working in a dynamic ICU environment, managing patients with respiratory conditions and requiring critical care. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Specific responsibilities include:
• Administering treatments for patients with acute respiratory issues
• Conducting intubations and managing ventilators as needed
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
• Participating in rounds and contributing to patient assessments and treatment decisions
• Demonstrating expertise in bronchoscopic procedures and other pulmonary-related interventions
• Providing education and support to patients and their families on disease management and self-care strategies
• Other duties as assigned by the facility or supervising physician
Work Schedule:
This is a mix of 12-hour day and night shifts, offering flexibility and variety in your schedule. You'll have the opportunity to work in different settings and gain experience in various aspects of pulmonology nursing.
