Drive Business Growth as a Territory Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Territory Sales Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive growth in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tailored sales approaches to meet the unique needs of your customers.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key personnel at customer accounts.
  • Conduct regular on-farm visits to provide product information and technical advice.
  • Negotiate and close agreements with clients while ensuring compliance with established rules and guidelines.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, leveraging your expertise to identify trends and suggest improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market activities, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results and contribute to team efforts as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 1-2 years in the beef industry.
  • A proven track record of sales success and meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong knowledge of nutrition, formulating, and on-farm operations.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to travel regularly within your assigned territory.
  • A solid understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
