Key Responsibilities and Expectations

The Collision Repair Operations Director will oversee daily operations at Murray's Group - CARSTAR/Fix, ensuring efficient workflow, timely repairs, and adherence to quality standards. This role requires a strong leader who can drive business growth, manage a diverse team, and foster a positive work environment.

  • Operational Leadership:
    • Implement CARSTAR's EDGE Performance platform to drive process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Team Management:
    • Foster a positive and productive work environment focused on teamwork and performance.
    • Recruit, train, and develop a team of technicians, estimators, detailers, and administrative staff.
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure an exceptional customer experience from initial estimate through vehicle delivery.
  • Financial Management:
    • Monitor key financial metrics and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve overall performance.
  • Sales and Growth:
    • Develop strategies to grow the business through marketing, customer retention, and partnerships with insurance companies and local businesses.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
  • Performance Management:
    • Effectively delegate responsibilities and provide clear direction to staff.
Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role has:

  • 5+ years in the automotive repair industry.
  • 2+ years in collision estimates.
  • 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams across various departments.
  • Experience managing budgets, financial reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues professionally.
Benefits and Compensation

The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of $90,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, they will be eligible for benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and flexible scheduling.
