Job Title: 36/hr. Jr. QA Automation Specialist

Job Summary:
Vaco is seeking a Jr. QA Automation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience and proficiency in writing, creating, and executing test cases. The role will involve performing manual and automation testing of software applications, executing pre-existing test scripts, and identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual and automation testing of software applications.
  • Execute pre-existing test scripts.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with developers and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product functionality and testing requirements.

Requirements:
  • 2 years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience.
  • Proficiency in writing, creating, and executing test cases.
  • Manual testing experience is acceptable; however, candidates should be prepared to work with test automation as part of this role. Experience with any test automation tools is a strong preference.
  • Demonstrated experience with API testing is essential.
  • Basic SQL querying capabilities, including experience with building, and executing database queries, as well as performing basic joins.
