Quality Assurance Materials Engineer Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish test-specific lab procedures to evaluate the functionality and quality of materials, components, or prototypes in the product development process.
  • Conduct a range of quality analyses according to given specifications and procedures.
  • Report on observed failures and initiate corrective actions.
  • Document test procedure results and collaborate with engineers or project managers for interpretation.
  • Maintain laboratory tools and equipment calibration and functionality.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Tech Associate Degree or Journeyman Certification.
  • 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with lab equipment, software, and basic knowledge of chemicals and lab safety.
  • Engineering and physics knowledge, along with basic Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to work in the US without employment visa sponsorship requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced hands-on skills in battery cell preparation and processing.
