Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Intensive Nurse Practitioner to join our team at K.A. Recruiting. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in nursing and experience in the care of critically ill newborns in both the delivery room and ICU setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Care for critically ill neonates in the neonatal ICU setting, including attendance at high-risk deliveries and ongoing care in the NICU/SCN setting.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to review patient data, round to make management plans, and perform procedures such as endotracheal intubation and PICC line placement.
  • Collaborate with the NICU team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in nursing required.
  • Completion of a Master's or post-Master's degree in adult or family NP program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
  • ANA or other appropriate nursing certification in area of practice and authorization by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing to practice in the expanded role.
  • DEA for prescription writing and board certification as a Pediatric or Neonatal Nurse Practitioner required.
  • At least 2 years experience in the care of ill and critically ill newborns in both the delivery room and ICU setting.
