Job Title: Associate Project Superintendent, Construction

Under the direction of the Project Manager, the Associate Project Superintendent, Construction will be responsible for the daily field construction of an individual project in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical input for schedule creation, subcontracting strategy, subcontractor scopes of work, quality of construction, schedule adherence, budget containment, safety, selection of methods, systems, and techniques of construction, and labor cost control.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, customers, contractors, and project team members.
  • Oversee all phases of planning and execution on small and large projects from the FEL start to the acceptance end.
  • Collaborate with the engineering group and business team to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage multiple subcontractors within a working facility.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of construction experience, preferably with experience in construction, estimating, and bid process, scheduling.
  • Strong understanding and management of safety, quality, and schedules.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in daily tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships through daily communication with clients.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including word processing, spreadsheets, and applications.
Physical Qualifications:

The work is located at an active work site and requires the following activities during field walk downs:

  • Exposure to ambient temperature extremes.
  • Extensive walking in and around a construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces, and working in small or confined spaces.
  • Some lifting may be required, up to 20lbs.
  • Ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress).
  • Ability to use appropriate standard-issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task.
  • Day-to-day physical requirements involve standard office activities, including sitting/standing for extended periods, attending meetings, and using a keyboard and mouse repetitively.
