Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Coordinator to join our team at Swipejobs. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of medical procedures, from scheduling to completion.

Salary: $22.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Coordination: Coordinate with healthcare professionals to schedule and prepare for medical procedures, ensuring all necessary information and equipment are in place.
  • Scheduling: Prepare and manage schedules for medical procedures, including OR time, anesthesia coverage, and necessary documentation.
  • Patient Care: Obtain patient face sheets from insurance verification to secure necessary authorizations, and ensure accurate documentation in the medical record or practice management system.
  • Communication: Communicate with facility staff, coders, and other stakeholders to confirm procedure requirements, arrange necessary resources, and streamline daily schedules.
Requirements:
  • Clerical Expertise: Possess strong clerical skills, including attention to detail, time management, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Coding and Billing Knowledge: Have a general understanding of CPT coding and billing, insurance verification, and prior authorizations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using medical records systems, practice management software, and other relevant technology.
