We are seeking a skilled technician to support the Launch Equipment Test Facility (LETF) at Kennedy Space Center. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our space exploration missions.


The LETF is a state-of-the-art test and development area that supports the entire spectrum of operational programs. Our team is responsible for testing and qualifying large-scale hardware and ground support equipment components, and we need a talented technician to join our ranks.


Responsibilities may include:


• Providing technical support to engineers working on research, design, development, testing, or manufacturing process improvement.


• Assisting with the design, evaluation, and/or modification of machinery and equipment.


• Performing routine tasks under close supervision or from detailed procedures.


• Checking work in progress or on completion.


• Performing day-to-day operations of Ground Systems Technical Operations.


• Performing other duties as assigned.

Kennedy Space Center is home to the Launch Equipment Test Facility (LETF), a versatile test and development area that supports the entire spectrum of operational programs. The LETF was originally established in the 1970s to accommodate full-scale qualification of Space Shuttle umbilicals and T-0 release mechanisms. It has been upgraded and refurbished to support NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) program, and is used to test a wide variety of large-scale hardware and ground support equipment components.
