Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Area Service Manager to join our team at Trane Technologies in Wilmington, Massachusetts. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight for all service activities, from installation and implementation to lifetime connectivity with customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the service coordination function to respond efficiently to customers, ensuring technicians' training and skill levels are balanced to meet customer needs.
  • Attract, coach, counsel, train, and develop all service employees, driving continuous improvement through performance management and technical product training programs.
  • Maximize cash flow by ensuring timely invoicing, managing expense budgets, and increasing utilization of the service team.
  • Ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance within the service team, providing training to all employees to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
  • Travel to customer job sites, which may involve outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms, and exposure to variable weather conditions and other environmental factors.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or equivalent from a four-year college or university (preferred).
  • Minimum of four years' experience in an industrial sales business setting and three years' experience in managing teams, processes, and budgets.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations.
