Medical Assistant Instructor

The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly motivated and organized individual with a passion for teaching and mentoring students in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach courses in medical assisting, utilizing a variety of instructional methods and materials.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to ensure students meet course objectives.
- Collaborate with department chairs and academic deans to resolve student concerns and improve program effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting as a CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA.
- Expertise in interpersonal and oral presentation/written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position at Fortis Colleges and Institutes. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching medical assisting courses and contributing to the development of the program.
