Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging Technologist (CT/XRay) to join our team at The University of Chicago Medicine. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for operating CT and X-Ray equipment to provide high-quality imaging services to patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that each patient order is completed accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a positive and supportive attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues
  • Perform imaging exams in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Ensure the performance of daily quality control on instrumentation
  • Document tests, procedures, and patient information accurately and thoroughly
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide patient care and support
  • Participate in ACR Accreditation process and maintain ACR standards for CT
  • Attend seminars and training sessions to enhance leadership and technical skills
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Maintains certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in both CT and X-Ray
  • Retains an active Radiography accreditation with the Indiana Department of Nuclear Safety
  • 2+ years of general radiology imaging experience
  • 1+ year of experience with CT
  • CPR certification
