RecruitPod Global partners with leading law firms across the United States, including the New York Metro Area. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join our team as an Insurance Defense Specialist.

Job Summary

The selected candidate will play a critical role in defending clients against General Liability claims, utilizing exceptional case analysis skills, trial and settlement experience, and the ability to work independently with moderate supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial investigations and provide expert legal advice on insurance defense cases
  • Prepare and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents with precision and attention to detail
  • Perform extensive research to identify key evidence, laws, and regulations applicable to each case
  • Develop and implement effective pre-trial discovery strategies to gather essential information
  • Represent clients in hearings and trials, leveraging expertise in litigation and negotiation techniques
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless case management and resolution
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • New York Bar membership; additional licenses in New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania are desirable
  • Proven track record of success in General Liability defense work, including trial experience
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
