We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Fitness Instructor to join our team at Basecamp Fitness - Bellingham. As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy interval and resistance training workouts to a diverse group of clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead group fitness classes, modifying exercises to accommodate various skill levels and ensuring participant safety
- Attend mandatory coaching certification training and complete a thorough evaluation process
- Facilitate the studio's class schedule to optimize scheduling and build class size
- Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure exceptional client experiences
- Participate in monthly fitness staff meetings and educational presentations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications in fitness instruction preferred
- 1 year of experience leading group workouts or 1:1 personal training required
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire groups
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and managing client and staff concerns
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs safely
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and arms
