Overview

The Internal Audit function at Michael Page is responsible for assessing the risk of our organization and identifying opportunities for improvement. We are seeking a Financial Auditor Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for performing operational, risk-based audits and internal control reviews. You will evaluate the effectiveness of controls, risk management systems and operational processes.

We are looking for a highly skilled auditor with experience in financial auditing. You will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex findings effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform operational, risk-based audits and internal control reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of controls, risk management systems and operational processes.• Evaluate controls and processes, prepare detailed workpapers to support test objectives and conclusions reached in accordance with Internal Audit Department and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards.• Draft, prepare and submit recommendations to enhance operational efficiency to management in a timely manner.• Collaborate with and support internal and external stakeholders.• Assist in developing and updating risk assessments by keeping updated on changes in risk profile, key process changes or system implementations in functional units.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies.• Perform special projects or investigations as directed; complete activities within established timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.• 1-3 years of audit experience.• Professional Certification, such as CISA, CPA or CIA preferred.• Knowledge of controls, complex systems and applications.• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Benefits
