Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Advanced Practice Healthcare Professional to join our team at Florida Community Health Centers, Inc. in providing high-quality healthcare services to patients across the Treasure Coast.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree from an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure in Florida, and board certification in Pediatrics (ANCC or PNCB). A minimum of one year experience as an APRN is preferred, but not required.

About the Role
  • Provide primary care to patients, including conducting physical exams and patient observations.
  • Perform independently or as part of a treatment team, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, family members, physicians, and community representatives.
  • Record patient medical histories and symptoms, create patient care plans, and contribute to existing plans.
  • Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests, monitor and operate medical equipment, diagnose health issues, and detect changes in patient health.

The successful candidate will be able to function independently in clinical decision-making, work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, and maintain harmonious relationships with colleagues and patients.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Master's degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in Florida and board certification in Pediatrics (ANCC or PNCB).
  • PNP authorization in Florida to practice in Pediatrics by the Board of Nurse Examiners.
  • Successful completion of the National APRN Certification Examination Degree Program required for initial licensure.
  • Current CPR (BLS) for the health care provider.
  • Minimum one year experience as an APRN preferred.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
