In this role as a Nursing Education Professor at Southeast Community College, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the field of nursing. About the Job

This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and a robust benefits package, including medical/dental insurance, 403(b) retirement with college matching contribution, vision insurance, flexible spending account, and tuition reimbursement. Additionally, you will receive extensive leave plans and the use of "Ben Dollars" to cover medical and dental premiums.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide classroom/laboratory/clinical/online instruction consistent with course objectives, standards, and guidelines for accreditation and state board requirements.
* Develop and implement curriculum to meet program goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
* Evaluate student progress, maintain accurate records, and submit grades as required.
* Serve as a mentor and advisor to students, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their academic and professional goals.
* Participate in program assessment and evaluation activities, contributing to continuous improvement of our nursing programs.

Requirements

* Current knowledge and expertise in nursing practice and education.
* Ability to read, interpret, and comprehend complex educational materials, including textbooks, research articles, and curriculum guides.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
* Experience in teaching and curriculum development, preferably in a post-secondary institution.
* Master's degree in nursing or related field, with a focus on education or leadership.

Salary Range

$55,000 - $65,000 per year
