Psychiatrist - Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience

The University of Cincinnati's College of Medicine is seeking an exceptional Ambulatory Psychiatrist to join its esteemed Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience. As a leading institution in medical education and research, we are committed to providing high-quality patient care and advancing the field of psychiatry.
Essential Functions- Provide direct patient care in the outpatient setting at UC Health facilities and/or other local healthcare systems.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows, contributing to the development of future healthcare professionals.
- Conduct clinical research at various University of Cincinnati and UC Health facilities, hospitals, and other local healthcare systems, driving innovation and improvement in patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer supervision, and formal mentorship, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Prior to appointment, candidates must have obtained an MD or DO degree and hold an Ohio Medical License. Additionally, completion of a 4-year Psychiatry Residency and Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Psychiatry are required.
