Maintenance Operations Technical Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Technical Program Manager to join our team in Herndon, VA. As a key member of our Data Center Engineering Availability team, you will be responsible for driving large-scale global projects and initiatives that directly impact availability for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Own and deliver complex global engineering and operational programs and initiatives that directly impact capacity delivery and availability for our customers.
- Partner with and influence the direction of multiple engineering and operations teams within and outside of AWS to deliver cross-functional projects.
- Mentor, train, and develop career progression for members of the organization.
- Develop, improve, and share operational best practices across the region and with peers globally.
As a Maintenance Operations Technical Program Manager, you will work closely with multiple stakeholder teams to define and implement global maintenance standards for assigned domains. You will work with software development teams to identify and implement automation opportunities, and explore opportunities to utilize Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) to your domain.

Basic Qualifications- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience.
- 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
- 3+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience.
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
